The Kanifing Magistrates’ Court recently convicted and sentenced one Muhammed Sam to a fine of D15, 000 in default to serve twelve months in prison.
Muhammed Sam was also ordered to pay a compensation of D60, 000 in default to serve three years in prison with hard labour.
He was ordered to pay both the fine and the compensation within 14 days.
