Magistrate Surahata Danso of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court recently convicted and sentenced one Momodou Jallow to a fine of D750 in default to serve one month in prison for fighting in a public place.
The charge sheet as presented by the police prosecutor, 1st Class 3533 Jarju, revealed that on 14th September 2010 at Bakoteh Tipper Garage, the convicted person was involved in a fight at a public place.
Momodou Jallow admitted the facts of the case, as narrated by the police prosecutor, and was sentenced accordingly.
