One Sankung Marong was recently arraigned at the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with threatening violence.
He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D500 with one Gambian surety.
The case was then adjourned till 1 February 2012.
According to the charge sheet, Sankung Marong, on 14 December 2011, at Old Jeshwang, in the Kanifing Municipality, with intent to intimidate, insult or annoy one Awa Ceesay, threatening he would beat her up, thereby committed an offence.
