A woman was recently arraigned at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court, charged with assault causing actual bodily harm.
Sally Sanyang had denied the charge and was granted court bail of D100,000 with two Gambian sureties.
According to the particulars of offence, the accused Sally Sanyang, on 22 October 2011, at Gunjur Village, in the Kombo South District of the West Coast Region, assaulted one Mama Jabang by stabbing her with a knife on several parts of her body, including her stomach, right leg, right hand and back.
The case continues on 25 January 2012.
