A man identified as Ebrima Manneh was on 4th January 2010, arraigned before Principal Magistrate Olajibutu Kayode of the Bundung Magistrates' Court, for allegedly attempting to have a canal knowledge of an under-aged girl.
According to the particulars of offence, on count one, on 15th December 2009, at Brufut village, Kombo North, the accused attempted to have a carnal knowledge of an under-aged girl.
While on count two, he was alleged to have indecently assaulted an under-aged, on 15th December 2009, at Brufut village in Kombo North.
Meanwhile, the prosecution applied for the case to be heard in chambers on the grounds that the victim is a minor.
The court upheld his application, and the case was subsequently called into the chambers
