Magistrate B.O Jobe of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court, on 18th January 2010 convicted and sentenced one Kissima Conteh to a fine of D1000, in default to serve three months in prison on each count for assault causing actual bodily harm and threatened violence.
The court also ordered him to compensate the victim in the sum of D1000, in default to serve another three months in prison.
According to the particulars of offence on count one, on 15th September 2009, at
Count two stated that on the same day and place, with intent to annoy or intimidate the complainant threatened to kill him with a razor blade.
