A man called Ensa Jarju was Monday arraigned at the
Brikama Magistrates’ Court, charged with wounding and similar act.
He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D20,000 with two Gambian sureties who must swear to an affidavit of means, and deposit their valid ID cards.
The charge sheet read in court revealed that the accused, Ensa Jarju, on 12 May 2012, at Mandinary Village, in the West Coast Region, unlawfully and willfully wounded one Lamin Beyai by pouring boil fuel with fire on him.
The case was then adjourned till 18 July 2012.
