A man was recently arraigned before Magistrate Abeke of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court, charged with threatening violence.
Matarr Drammeh pleaded not guilty of the charge and was subsequently granted bail of D10,000 with two Gambian sureties.
According to the charge sheet, on 7 March 2011, at Brikama Jalanbang, Kombo Central, West Coast Region, the accused, Matarr Drammeh, with intent to intimidate or annoy, threatened to kill one Morro Jatta with a knife and cutlass.
