According to the particulars of offence, on 24 April 2012, in Banjul and diverse places in The Gambia, the accused, Alieu Keita, was found in possession of two bundles of suspected cannabis sativa and thereby committed an offence.
He denied the charge after it was read and interpreted to him in the language he claimed to have understood.
The case at that juncture was adjourned till 18 September 2012.
