A man accused of aiding and abetting was on Wednesday arraigned at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court.
Malamin Colley denied the charge and was granted court bail of D50,000 with two Gambian sureties, who must swear to an affidavit of means and deposit their valid ID cards.
The particulars of offence stated that the accused, Malamin Colley, on 9 May 2012, at the Banjul International Airport, helped one Fodang Touray, who happened to be a convict, to drag a stolen suitcase outside the airport, thereby committed an offence.
The case was then adjourned till 20 June 2012, for hearing.
