Major wins for Gambian pros in Europe, MLS

Gambian International players Aziz Corry Nyang, Saihou and Alieu Jagne's GIF beat Mohammed Mbye's Assyriska 3-1 in Saturday's Swedish Superettan.

GIF Sundsvall, who were overtaken by current leaders Norrkoping by a single point are now standing second on 29.

GIF Sundsvall deservedly led 2-1 as the game clock ticked towards 90 minutes. Emil Forsberg sent the ball behind the goal to  sealed a 3-1 win.

They had turned a disadvantage score line after goals by Nuri Mustafi and Christian Brink. Assyrian star Goran Marklund opened the scores in 23rd minute.
