Libyan clinic in Serrekunda boosted with multifunction diagnostic machine

In another strategic intervention in the Gambia’s health sector, the World Islamic Call Society (WICS) Gambia office has procured and installed a brand new state-of-the-art ultra sound scanner and multifunction diagnostic machine at the Libyan clinic situated in Serrekunda, at the Libyan grand mosque grounds.

Speaking during the official handing over ceremony, Nasser Takazi, director of WICS said: “This is a timely humanitarian intervention, and is geared toward complementing the sustained efforts of the Gambia government in upgrading this vital sector.”

It is also as a clear manifestation of “the profound proactive stance” of the WICS to provide access to quality medical services to Gambians, especially the women, Mr Takazi added.

The WICS director added that promoting the health sector is part of helping the Gambian people to have access to health care.
