League 2 to produce Western Region derby

Lamin FC will clash with Jambanjelly in all Western Region Derby game today Wednesday 27th May 2009 in week sixteen encounter at the Brikama Mini Stadium.

Jambanjelly still lies at the bottom of the table with 8 points from fifteen games and are hoping to rejuvenate their winning form after their poor performance in the season, Lamin FC are still 6th position with 16 points from fourteen games.

Serrekunda East will host Serrekunda United at Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai, Serrekunda East drop to 3rd position on the table following their 1-1 with Nema United in their week fifteen encounter at the Brikama Mini Stadium while Serrekunda United are 7th position on table with 16 points.

Ham Ham will battle it out with Kaira Silo at the Independence Stadium, Ham Ham are 5th position on table with 20th points from fifteen games while Kaira Silo are second from bottom with 11 points from fifteen games and will hoping to bounce back after disappointing start in the league.

Elsewhere, Young Africans will take on GPA in other week sixteen games at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium, GPA are now 2nd position on table with 28 points from fifteen games, Young Africans are 8th position on the table with 16 points from thirteen games with two games in hand.

While on Thursday 28th May Interior will face Nema United in the last game in week sixteen at the Brikama Mini Stadium, Interior are now leading the second division table with 29 position on the table with 28 points from fourteen games with a game in hand, Nema United are 4th position on the table with 22 points from fourteen games.

In week fifteen game Nema United 1 Serrekunda East 1, GPA 1 Kaira Silo 1, Ham Ham 2 Serrekunda United 0, Lamin 0 Young African 0 and finally Interior 2 Jambanjelly 0.
