Preparations are in the final stages for an ecstatic concert to be held on 16, 22 and 23 November 2013 in The Gambia by Jah Turban, a leading Jamaican artiste.

The concert is all out to help the needy in The Gambia, as Jah Turban plans to plough back proceeds from the shows on the Gambian people.

Speaking to journalists at a press briefing held recently at Alliance Francaise, Muhammeh Drammeh, CEO of Mike Promotions, said monies generated from the shows will be ploughed back into the community to support the needy, especially students and the Operation Save A Baby programme.

The leading Jamaican artiste is expected to perform alongside other renowned artistes from Jamaica, the UK, Ghana and South Africa.

The three-day concert will take place at Brikama Mini Stadium, Busumbala Hall and Alliance Francaise respectively.

According to Jah Turban, artistes that are expected to grace the occasion are Fafadi and other national and international stars.

Muhammeh Drammeh said they would also tour the whole country.

He thanked profoundly main sponsors of the event such as MJS Promotions, adding that they have also written letters to most of the NGOs in the country, seeking support.
