Latrikunda
United have ended PSV Wellingara’s unbeaten run in the ongoing Gambia Football
Federation (GFF) second division league after defeating them 1-0 in the
week-three outing, played at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium last Thursday.
The
Wellingara based-club won their two opening matches after hammering Second
Infantry Battalion 6-0 and Red Hawks 2-0 prior to their game with the
Latrikunda based-team, who beat them 1-0.
They
now dropped to second-place in the second tier standings with 6 points after
slipping to Latrikunda United, who also bagged 6 points.
PSV
Wellingara will scuffle to win their next league match to recover in the second
division league to bolster their chances of regaining promotion to division one
league, next season.
