Investment FC have sailed to the semifinal of the 2019 Gunjur nawettan
knock-out competition.
The
Nyokoyorr boys whipped Asselem 2-0 in the quarterfinal match, played at the
Gunjur Upper and Senior Secondary School football field on Saturday.
Lamin
Touray, alias Bandeh gave Marikin Investment the lead in the first half and
substitute Sheriff Touray scored the second goal in the second half to earn
Marikin Investment a spot in the last fourth.
Meanwhile,
Kombo Real Estate defeated Solifo FC 7-6 on penalties to advance to the
semifinal after the regulation time ended goalless in the quarterfinal, played
on Friday.
Marikin
Investment will play against Kombo Real Estate in the semifinal tomorrow, at
the Gunjur Upper and Senior Secondary School football field at 4.30pm.
