The annual Islamic conference of the late renowned Islamic Scholar and preacher Oustass Omar Bunn Jeng will take place in Gunjur this Saturday, 21 May 2011.
The Islamic conference attracts worshipers from The Gambia, Senegal, Guinea Bissau and other parts of the continent where Islamic preachers lecture about principles of Islam, the Almighty Allah and the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH).
In this regard the family members of the late Islamic Scholar are calling on all Muslims residing in The Gambia, Senegal and other parts of the continent to attend the annual Islamic conference organised in memory of their late Islamic Scholar Oustass Omar Bunn Jeng.
Oustass Omar Bunn Jeng, who has contributed immensely towards the propagation and promotion of Islam in The Gambia, passed away in 1995.
