When the case was called, defence counsel LK Mboge told the court the case was set for hearing.
Counsel added that he wanted to renew his earlier application for bail for the accused person, as Conteh was in remand custody since last the adjournment date.
The trial magistrate said the court would hear a civil matter, hear his case, but before Conteh’s case. Counsel responded that he has to go to other courts, and would not be able to come back.
Consequently, the accused person was taken back to remand.
The case was adjourned to 4 August 2014, for continuation of the hearing.
