Lady arraigned for multiple offences

One Awa Boysa was recently arraigned before Magistrate Drammeh of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court on two counts of criminal trespass and willful damage to a property.

The accused, who pleaded not to the charges was granted a court bail in the sum of D5, 000, with a Gambian surety who must meet the bail condition.

According to the particulars of offence, on count one, the accused, Awa Boysa on 9th July 2010, at Pipeline with intent to intimidate annoyed one Sabrina Shaman by threatening to kill her.

Count two stated that on 9th July 2010, at Pipeline the accused, Awa Boysa while in a motor vehicle, with a registration number BJL 1677 G, willfully and unlawfully damaged a rear left side window glass of the said vehicle, valued at $300, being the property of Fatou Senghore.

The case was adjourned to 29th July 2010.
