Lady Arraigned for Assault, Criminal Trespass

One Kaddijatou Jallow of Tallinding was on 23rd December 2008 arraigned at the Bundung Magistrates' Court before Amina Saho-Ceesay for criminal trespass and assault.

According to the alleged offence on count one, on 13th October 2008 in Tallinding, the accused assaulted one Abdoukarim Kuruma by tearing his shirt.

While on count two, the particulars of the offence revealed that on the same day and place, the accused unlawfully entered in to the compound of the said AbdouKarim Kuruma with intent to annoy him.

The accused pleaded not guilty and was granted court bail in the sum of D5000 with a Gambian surety.

The case was adjourned to 6th January 2009.
