Kwame house have been crowned champions of the 2013 Gunjur Upper Basic School inter-house athletics competition after scoring 592 points at the school’s football field at the weekend.
Foday Sillah is second with 490 points, Cabral third with 481 points, while record champions Samory finished fourth position with 463 points.
The athletics championship was witnessed by hundreds of spectators from Gunjur and its satellite areas for the school’s annual sporting event meant to scout out good athletes that will represent the school in the upcoming West Coast region Upper Basic School inter-schools athletics heat as well as the national athletics championship set for later this year.
