The 2008 Gamcel sponsored Kombo South District football
tournament will kick off this Saturday May 3rd2008, at the Gunjur football field.
The tournament will feature eight teams namely Sifoe, Tujereng, Farator, Tanji, Nyofelleh, Jambanjelly and Kartong.
Speaking to Pointsports the chairman Kombo SouthYouths and Sports Committee, Mr. Buba Bojang alias Bada, said, " the opening matches are expected to be witnessed by the National Assembly Member of Kombo South Hon Paul Mendy, the Chief of Kombo South DistrictSheriff Ajeh Janneh, GFAFirst Vice President General Langtombong Tamba and other important dignitaries.
The fixture for the opening will feature Nyofelleh and Tanji on Saturday at 5pm.
