Kolongba FC have been crowned champions of the World Trade Centre Sports Committee junior football tournament following their 3-2 post-match penalty shootout victory over Real Madrid FC in a tightly contested final played recently.
The match ended goalless in regulation time at the Gunjur Nyamina Football Field before the shootout.
As champions, Kolongba were decorated with a giant trophy and a cash prize of D1,200, whilst Real Madrid received D1,000 as runners-up.
Jujuba FC were crowned the most disciplined team of the tournament, and Basirou Touray of Real Madrid was crowned the leading goal scorer of the tournament.
Demba Colley of Sandele FC won the best goalkeeper of the tournament, while Demba Bojang of Real Madrid emerged the best player of the tournament.
