Kitty have been crowned champions of the 2012 Kombo Central District football tournament following their 5-4 post-match penalty shootout victory over Kassa Kunda.
This was after a goalless draw in regulation time in a well-contested final game played at the West Coast Region’s biggest football arena - Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium on Saturday.
The final game was dominated by Kassa Kunda but could not break the deadlock.
Kitty were defending and relied on counter attacks and created few goal-scoring opportunities.
This pushed the game into a post-match penalty shootout, which ended 5-4 in favour of Kitty.
As champions, Kitty walked away with a giant trophy
