King Colley Bounces Back as BYSA President

Lamin King Colley has been re-elected as the President of the Brikama Youth and Sport Association to oversee the affairs of the committee for the next two years.

He defeated his opponent Lamin J Sanneh during the election after pulling 26 votes out of 31.

Speaking to reporters after his election, King Colley expressed his readiness in promoting, improving and developing the level of sports in Brikama.

He revealed that BYSA contributed immensely towards the development of football in Brikama and expressed optimism that he and his executive would certainly do their best for the development of football in Brikama and its surrounding villages.

On behalf of The Gambia Football Association Seedy MB Kinteh, Momodou Demba, development officer of GNOC, commended BYSA for their tremendous promotion of sports in Brikama especially football.

He hailed Lamin King Colley for his immense contribution towards the development of football in Brikama and the country at large.

The national assembly member of Kombo Central Mr. Abdou Jarju also expressed similar sentiments and urged the committee to keep up the good work.

He also called for unity and understanding within the youths of Brikama in their endeavour to attain their dreams and aspirations.
