Killah Ace to release debut album ‘Another critical experiment’

Killah Ace, hip-hop singer, is expected to release his debut album entitled “Another Critical experiment”, which comprises18 tracks to be launched at Jakaralo on 14 December 2013.

Mariama Bojang, public relations officer to Killah Ace management, told journalists on 20 November 2013 at Alliance Francaise that the production of the album is finished and are set to release it.

Killah Ace said some of the hit songs of the album, produced by Swedish Record label called Nordsteel-(Bright light), are ‘Allah Bai Soldier’, ‘Frustration’, ‘Burn Dem Down’,and ‘Mama’ .

According to him, the album will be released in The Gambia and Senegal because he has a relationship with so many Senegalese artistes.

“I featured Swedish singer Karro, Busk best Senegalese hip-hop singer, Benjamin, Jalimadi and Straight from Jupiter Entertainment crew in The Gambia,” Killah Ace said.

He added that all the songs talk about issues affecting society, because hip-hop is about sending positive message to the audience.

He said the album gives a different taste of Gambian music, because Gambian music needs reality to get to international standards.

“I am a very hardworking individual who believes in my talent to take my music to international level and I believe this is just a tip of the iceberg; expects more music projects from me,” he said.

Killah Ace, whose real name is Ali Cham, started his music career in 1998 in the United States of America and dropped two mixtapes with his partner Canabas

In 2012, he formed the Cypher Movement, a platform for upcoming hip-hop artistes, to showcase their talents in monthly shows.

Killah Ace is the founding member of the Straight from Jupiter Entertainment.
