Judo executive slapped with 2-year ban

The National Sports Council has announced the banning of members of the earlier dissolved executive of the Gambia Judo Association from holding executive positions in the Association for two years effective 7 October 2015.

The NSC added that members of the current Interim Committee of the Gambia Judo Association, by virtue of their current positions, do not qualify to contest for executive positions in election of the said Association due to taking place on Sunday 28 February 2016.

Below is the list of the dissolved executive and Interim Committee members of the Gambia Judo Association.

Former Executive:Ebrima Tamba, President (former), Adama Ceesay, Vice President (former), Awa Ceesay, Secretary General (former), Kaddijatou Jallow, Treasurer (former), Yusupha Jawara Public Relations Officer (former), Sheikh Ceesay, member (former) and Serajo Camara, member (former).

Interim Committee: Momodou Sanyang, Chairman, Momodou Dumbuya, member, Bakary Kaudeh, member, and Pascal Camara, member.
