Jollof Tutors Grab 16 International Awards

In what could be described as another milestone in its educational calendar, Jollof Tutors has again demonstrated its stance as a leading higher institute of learning in the country by grabbing 16 out of 24 international awards of the Association of Business Executive (ABE) Gambia branch.

According to Mr Alieu Dibba, head of ABE department at Jollof Tutors, who spoke to our reporters in an interview, ABE Chief Examiner, Mr Martin Bucklin came to the Gambia to award ABE students who have done extremely well. He said the visit also enabled Mr Bucklin to familiarize himself with local colleagues that were license to ABE programs. He also noted that this was not the first time Jollof Tutors won ABE International awards. "Last year, we won 11 awards out of 16, which by all standards, is a great achievement for not only the students but also Jollof Tutors. We also create independent learning environment for our students in their respective field of studies", he added.

Also as part of his visit, Mr Dibba went on the Chief Examiner will update ABE students with new developments about ABE in the Gambia.

Also speaking to our reporters, Mr Alhagie Mamadi Kurang, Chief Executive Officer and managing Tutor, dilated on the importance his institution attaches to quality and relevant education.

He revealed that since the start of ABE program in the Gambia in 2003, more than 500 students have successfully passed their external exams. He promised that his institution will continue preparing students for both national and international ABE exams.

He congratulated the awardees and management for their hard work, noting that there is still room for improvement.
