The former Gambian captain Jatto Ceesay has moved back to Cyprus, this time joining AEP Paphos, in the Cyprus super league.
The two-year deal, which came into effect yesterday, July 1st, is subject to be reviewed at the end of the contract.
Jatto has lately been in the wilderness following his release by Dutch second Division side FC Omniworld.
Jatto earlier had a year-long spell at AEK Larnaca.
The team AEP Paphos came into being in 2000 following the merger of two Paphos sides of APOP and Evagoras who were enjoying different fortunes in the Greek Cypriot football league.
However, since the merger, the club has managed to reach the Cypriot cup semi finals twice and were relegated once.
The club is proud of a very strong following and the Pafiako stadium in Paphos is always full to capacity.
Jatto has emerged as The Gambia's journey man following his spells with Willem 11, Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia, AEK Larnaca and FC Omniworld.
NB, It was earlier reported that Jatto signed for a one-year deal but in fact it's a two-year contract.
