Jarintos FC, Demba Kunda Kurumba FC and Aloungari FC are all through to the Semi-finals of the Dynamic Sarahuleh Association for Changes and Development football tournament after beating their respective opponents in the quarterfinal games.
Jarintos FC advanced to the semi-final after defeating Dippa Kunda 2-1 at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium on Tuesday 17 May 2011 in the 5pm encounter.
Basamba Drammeh and Bully Drammeh scored Jarintos’ goals in the 2nd and 24th minutes of the game, while Mama Drammeh scored Dippa Kunda’s consolation in the 72nd minute of the game.
Dippa Kunda were reduced to ten men in the 27th minute when Momodou Drammeh was sent off after been shown a second yellow card for a bookable offence.
Demba Kunda Kurumba FC beat Taifa FC 4-2 on a post-match penalty shootout after a 0-0 draw.
Abdoulie Jako of Taifa FC was shown a straight red card during the post-match penalty shootout after he was found wanting for using an abusive language against the central referee.
Aloungari FC beat Julan Gilly one-nil to progress to the semi-final of the competition.
