Jappineh marabout murder case file returns to court

Justice Amadi of the Special Criminal Court in Banjul yesterday told the court the Chief Justice returned the Jappineh marabout case file to him to continue with the case.

Jappineh Marabout Alhajie Karamo Njie was charged with murder.

When the case was called, Justice Amadi said he sent the case back to the registry for the Chief Justice to re-assign, but the Chief Justice said his reasons were not good enough, and asked him to continue with it.

He then adjourned the case till 12 January 2015, for mention
