The competition, which showed brilliant exhibition of skills and panache by athletes from various institutions, attracted thousands of spectators from Gunjur and its satellite areas for the Tobaski’s athletics bonanza competition.
At the end of the competition, Gunjur Radio Jannehkoto FM were crowned champions after scoring 481 points, followed by Sandalee Oil and Trading Company Limited in second position with 477 points, while Food-Step Eco Lodge finished third position with 476 points.
The competition was organised by Gunjur Athletics Association (GAA) in conjunction with Gunjur Youth and Sports Development Association (GYSDA) to raise funds for Gunjur Zonal team, who are warming up for the 2013 Skye Bank Limited-sponsored Super Nawettan competition.
