
Jambur,
Batokunku, Farato and Tanji are all through to the semifinals in the ongoing
Berewuleng Football Club sponsored Kombo South District Football Tournament
after winning their quarter-final matches.
Jambur
beat the defending champions Kartong on penalties, after the regulation time
failed to produce a winner in the quarter-final played at the Sanyang Football
Field at the weekend.
The
2008 champions Farato beat Sanyang in the quarter-final played at the
Jambanjelly Football Field to progress to the semifinal.
Tanji
booked their ticket to the semifinal after defeating Mamuda in the
quarter-final played at the Farato Football Field.
Batokunku
progressed to the semifinal following their penalty shootout win over
Nyofelleh, after a goalless draw in regulation time in the quarter-final.
In
the semifinals, Jambur will take on Batokunku, while Farato will clash with
Tanji.
The
semifinal matches are set to be played immediately after Ramadan.
