FC will clash with Lions of Banjul in The Gambia Football Federation domestic
division one promotion play-off final today, Thursday 1 June 2017, at the
Independence Stadium in Bakau after eliminating BK Milan and Wallidan in the
semifinals on Tuesday.
Fortune
FC beat BK Milan 2-1 in the semifinal, played at the Serrekunda East Mini
Stadium, to progress to the play-off final and will target the defeat of Lions
of Banjul to gain promotion to the first division.
Lions
of Banjul thrashed Wallidan 3-1 in the semifinal played at the Independence
Stadium in Bakau to advance to the play-off final and will fight to beat
Fortune FC to gain promotion to the first division.
Wallidan
and BK Milan will be plying their trade in the second tier next season after
losing Lions of Banjul and Fortune FC in the play-offs on Tuesday.
