Interior Wins Female League Title

Interior has finally succeeded in adding another league title to their cabinet of trophies following their hard-fought one-nil victory over fellow title contenders Company Ten as the race for the Female division one championship came to conclusion this weekend.

The former league champion are 6 points clear on top of the table on 25 points closely followed by Company ten who collected 19 points 2 points above third place Red Scorpion who have a total of 17 points with a game remaining at the time of filing this report.

Red Scorpion stands a chance of finishing at the second spot should they snatch a victory when they entertain relegation escapee Kintehs United who will also be looking forward to improve on their league standing.

Abuko United are in fourth position on 17 points whiles Makasutu who are already relegated to the second tier football are struggling at the bottom of the table on only 3 points.

In a similar engagement, Armed Forces were confirmed the champions of the female second division league championship after securing a total of 18 points.
