Interior Male Volleyball Club on Wednesday 23rd June 2010 beat Brikama by three sets to one set in the Gambia Volleyball Association (GVBA) National Volleyball League at the Gambia College Volleyball lawn in Brikama.

The head coach of Interior Volleyball team, Alagie Ceesay alias Nature, speaking shortly after the game, said their objective was to pull out a win against Brikama.

Nature as he is widely called said Brikama Volleyball team has a very good team who needed to be encouraged in the game.

Head coach Ceesay also stated that they work hard to improve on their tactics so that they can win upcoming games, not ruling out that this year's national volleyball league is going to be very tough, as all teams are prepared for it.

Reacting to the defeat, disappointed Pa Baboucarr Barrow,  head coach of Brikama Volleyball team, said his players failed to perform to expectations during the game as the points Interior registered during the game were very cheap.

Having learnt from their weakness, coach Barrow is working on improving on them in matches to come, and avoid losing another game again during the league.

Meanwhile, Old Jeshwang Female Volleyball Team will host Interior Female Volleyball Team at the Gambia Technical Training Institute (GTTI) Volleyball lawn today, Friday 25th June 2010.
