As the Gamtel sponsored FA Cup Championship reach its second round games tomorrow Saturday 27th June 2009, last year's runners-up Samger will entertain Jambanjelly at the Brikama Mini Stadium, while Tallinding United FC will battle it out with Nema United at Brikama.
Bakau United will face Real de Banjul at the Serrekunda Mini Stadium on the same date. Bakau United who won the championship in 2005 will prepare well for the formidable battle, while Real De Banjul who were eliminated in the semi final stage of the 2007 competition by GPA will come all out for victory.
Elsewhere Hawks will take on Gamtel at the Father Gough Sport Complex in Majai. Hawks the FA Cup winners in 2006 with their exposure and experience in the championship will come out for a victory, while Gamtel are yet to clinch this championship since the inception.
On Sunday 28th June 2009, Seaview FC will lock horns with Africell FC in all Bakau affairs at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium, the FA Cup champions Wallidan will meet Serrekunda East at the Independence Stadium, the current league champions Armed Force will face Young Africans at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda, while Brikama United FC will entertain Bakau giant Steve Biko at the Brikama Mini Stadium on 28th June 2009.
