The host Serrekunda West were absolutely astonishing and impressive as they dominated Gunjur in the midfield and launched numerous goal-scoring attempts but sent all their bullets into the bush.
Gunjur, who failed to compose and establish themselves well in the first half, created few goal-scoring opportunities but also failed to utilize them thus the first half ended blank.
Upon resumption of the game, Serrekunda West picked up where they left in the first half and mounted pressure on the Gunjur defence.
Serrekunda West opened the scores through Aziz Mendy in the 55th minute of the game after capitalizing on Gunjur’s defensive slip to give West Side boys the lead after a deadlock in the first period.
Gunjur responded back quickly and levelled the tally through tallish man Dominic Demba in the 65th minute of the game to cancel out Aziz Mendy’s 55th minute strike to share the loot.
