As Schools
continue to complete in their inter houses and prepare for the forthcoming
inter schools athletics championship, Garba Jahumpa Upper Basic School
At the end of the event, Green House emerged as champions with 162 Points and they went away with a giant trophy. Yellow House came second with 152 Points, Blue House third with 132 Points.
Speaking to Pointsports, the house master of Green House, Mr. Bittaye, said his house deserved to win the championship and his athletes had done extremely well during the event and he hailed his athletes for their hard work, commitment and dedication during the event.
Mr. Bittaye noted that his house was blessed with talent and vibrant athletes and he said if they are properly nurtured they can be great athletes in the future.
He further noted that his house was well prepared for the event and that was why they clinched the trophy this year.
He commended the schools' committee for organizing event which will go a long way in selecting good athletes for the forthcoming inter schools athletics championship to held later this year at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
