Lamin United FC Coach Hails Players

The head coach of Lamin United FC, Pierre Gomez, has applauded his players for the respectable performance, which saw them qualify to the second division, in the just ended GFA third division triangular qualifiers.

Coach Gomez make his remarks yesterday in an interview with Pointsports at his residence in Lamin Kombo South.

He revealed that his boys have done something special for the people of Lamin and the fans of the team and he urged them to keep up the challenge in the second division league this season.

He further revealed that team will prepare well for the league and he expressed confidence that his boys will stay in the second division league.

According to Coach Gomez, the Lamin Youth and Sports Association and the fans of the team along with he and his technical team will make every effort to make sure the team stays in this year's GFA second division league season.

He also thanked LYSA for their support to the team during the qualifiers and he appealed to them to continue supporting the team morally, financially and spiritually.

It will be recalled that Lamin United FC made it to the 2008-09 GFA second division after defeating Jollof Tutors FC and losing to Serrekunda United FC in the last match in the qualifiers.
