Brikama U19 boys won the toss and decided to field. GPA batted and scored 110 runs in 18 overs with 10 wickets down. Ebrima Camara batted and scored 16 runs - the highest.
Sipiterr Gaye bowled and took 4 wickets for 19 runs in 3 overs bowled. Brikama batted in the second innings and scored 97runs in 14 overs. Baliou Jarju batted and scored 39 - the highest for them.
Yahya Fadera bowled and took 3 wickets for 10 runs in 3 overs bowled. GPA Under-19 won the final by 13 runs and are the Champions of the 2015/2016 Under 19 Boy’s Community CricketLeague Tournament.
At the presentation ceremony held at the July 22nd Square in Banjul the President of the Association thanked Mr Andrew Shanks and Sussex for the trophy and for having supported the association over the years.
A trophy and cash prize of D2,000 (two thousand dalasis), was given to the winner, while the runner-up received a trophy and a cash prize of D1,000 (one thousand dalasis).
