As part of its drive to equip National Sports Associations with the necessary technical know-how, Gambia National Olympic Committee (GNOC) in collaboration with Olympic Solidarity, FIFA and Gambia Football Federation (GFF) will tomorrow, Thursday 27 March commence a two-week intensive level 3 football coaching course at Jaliba Hotel in Kotu.
The course, expected to wrap up on 7 April 2014, will be conducted by world football governing body FIFA’s renowned instructor Mr Jan Borge Poulsen from Denmark.
The Gambia Football Federation technical department has invited 20 coaches with level 2 certificate drawn from football clubs to participate in this advanced coaching course.
Mr Poulsen, a vast experienced FIFA course instructor, will arrive in The Gambia on Wednesday 26 March for his second tour of duty in The Gambia.
The residential course will be coordinated by GNOC development officer Momodou Demba to be assisted by GFF technical department officials.
