The
2016-2017 Gambia Football Federation domestic division league season is set to
kick off on 19 November 2016, across six venues in the Greater Banjul Area.
As
part of week-one fixtures, Marimoo will host Tallinding United at the Father
Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.
Marimoo
and Tallinding both gained promotion to the top flight last season after
finishing champions and runners-up in the second tier last season.
The
Manjai-based outfit were crowned second division league champions and the
Tallinding-based outfit finished runners-up.
Hawks
will take on Bombada at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium, while Serrekunda
United will welcome Gamtel at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on the same
day.
On
Sunday 13 November 2016, Samger will entertain Gambia Armed Forces at the
Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

Cup champions Brikama United will host Real De Banjul at the Brikama Box Bar
Mini Stadium.
Elsewhere,
Bakau giant killers Steve Biko will rub shoulders with reigning league
champions Ports Authority at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on the same day.
