The Gambia Football Association (GFA) nationwide U-17 selection tournament will kick start today Thursday 1st April 2010, at four different venues across the country.
The tournament is expected to be competed by all the regions, and eight major Nawettan zones in the country in order to select a solid team that will take part in the 2011 CAF U-17 youth championship qualifiers, which is expected to commence later this year.
As part of the opening games, Bakau will face NBR at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda, at 9.00 am; Serrekunda West will battle it out with LRR at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium at 9.00 am, while
On Friday 2nd April 2010 Serrekunda East will clash with URR at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium at 9.00am, Brikama will lock horns with Lamin at Brikama Mini-stadium 9.00am, while Gunjur will entertain CRR at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda at 17hrs.
On Sunday 4th April Banjul will take on LRR at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium at 9.00am Serrekunda West will play against NBR at the East Mini-stadium at 17hrs, while Bakau will line up against Sukuta at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda at 17hrs.
On Monday 5th April Gunjur will battle it out with Lamin at the Brikama Mini-stadium at 9.00am, Brikama URR at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium at 17.00hrs, while CRR will meet Serrekunda East at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium.
