Feb 11, 2013, 12:13 PM

The Gambia Football Association’s Normalisation Committee recently distributed sets of balls from its new consignment of footballs to each league club ranging from all categories to Women League.

The package was received from the Confederation of African Football CAF to the Gambia Football Association who under the stewardship of the Normalisation Committee deems it prudent to give back to the clubs in order to strengthen their practice sessions and competition.

Furthermore, the Normalisation Committee has also distributed its rules and regulations together with the Code of Conduct to all league clubs.

The rules and regulations are the guiding principles of the GFA competitions and its code of conduct…It is expected that with the instruments distributed, there will be fewer conflicts in our beautiful game of football.

Footballs are a basic requirement in football development. Thus it is just fitting to distribute them among the league clubs so that they will have quality balls for their training sessions and practice games,” said Marcel Mendy, executive security of the National Youth Council.

The Normalisation Committee takes this opportunity to congratulate and thank all stakeholders for the continuous cooperation and understanding exhibited during the period.

Furthermore, the committee wishes to extend its gratitude to all stakeholders for their invaluable cooperation at the start of the new league season.
