Gamwoks has supported Gambia Deaf Sports Association with a vehicle for commercial purposes to generate income for the community-based infrastructure and livelihood improvement project (CLIP).
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Marcel Mendy, executive director of the National Sports Council, said government would continue to support the development of deaf people in the country.
Mr Mendy encouraged the deaf to learn skills, saying that some deaf people are well educated.
For his part, Ebrima Manneh, technical director of the Gambia Football Federation, encouraged the deaf to also involve in sport.
Manneh stated that sport makes people healthy as well as exposes them and the country to the outside world.
