Gamtel have revived their
lead in the ongoing Gambia Football Federation (GFF) division one league
standings.
Following their 1-0 win over
defending league champions Brikama United in the week-seven fixture played at
the Brikama Box Mini Stadium on Friday.
The telecommunication giant
were leading the country’s top flight league before their encounter with
Brikama United, who lost to Gambia Ports Authority 2-1 in their previous
outing.
They netted one goal without
Brikama United replying to snatch maximum points to revive their lead in the
league with 13 points.
Brikama United are still with
9 points after seven league matches and will affray to win their next game to
bounce back in the league.
