With the Eid-Ul-Adha (Tobaski) fast approaching, Gamcel, the National GSM Operator, Wednesday presented Tobaski rams to its lucky customers at a presentation held at the company’s Head Office in Kanifing.
In his remarks on the occasion, Lamin Fofana, Gamcel’s product development and research manager, thanked the management of Gamcel, and described the presentation as part of the company’s culture, as they annually give Tobaski rams to their lucky customers.
The cost of the rams is huge, he added, saying they however make it affordable to their customers to have the chance of winning a ram by just loading D100 credit into one’s line.
They recently airlifted 10 of their customers to Mecca to perform the Hajj, he said, adding that they are always “in for the benefit of their customers”.
They are in business but have not forgotten their corporate social responsibilities, hence on occasions like Tobaski they always give the best, which is in line with Islam.
Gamcel is always at the forefront when it comes to development of the nation, he said.
Manyima Cham, senior manager marketing and communication, said they always want to please their customers as well as contribute to national and individual development.
“Gamcel is the nation’s own,” she added, while thanking their customers for being behind the company.
Awa Jobarteh, senior manager for sales at Gamcel, said they would always be there for their customers as long as they are behind the company.
She described their customers as patriotic citizens, adding that they as service provider would continue to come up with promotions that would please their customers.
Gamcel is supporting health, sport, education, agriculture and any sector that is for national development, she said, adding that they would always plough back to society for the betterment of the nation.
