Gambian stars Yankuba Ceesay alias Mal, Ebrima Cham and George Cole on Tuesday celebrated their club’s famous 9-1 win over Viljandi in the Estonian first division league.
Kalju’s prominent win has now increased their lead in the table with 82 points. George Cole, who so far made four appearances for the side, scoring a goal last month, was part of the winning team, but was seated at the bench.
Tuesday’s game also marked Yankuba Ceesay’s 16th game of the season, with a record of five goals. He came in as a second-half substitute, when his colleagues J. Jevdokimov (PG), Mels , T. Neemelo, and E. Puri gave the team a happy day with a heavy scoring record.
T. Neemelo’s five goals and Mels double coupled with two other goals scored by Jevdokmov and Puri made up the lucky night goals for Kalju.
