Gambia U-20 to commence training ahead of CAF U-20 Youth Championship qualifiers tomorrow

A Provisional list of thirty-six players scouted from various divisional clubs under the expert guidance of the GFF Technical Director and the Technical Committee for the Qualifiers of the 2015 Africa Youth Championships to be hosted in Senegal are set to commence training sessions on Thursday 20 February 2014 at the GFF Technical Training Centre in Yundum thrice weekly; Monday, Thursday and Friday mornings, according to a media release issued by GFF Media Officer, Bakary B. Baldeh.

The training programme for this activity will be conducted by Gamtel Head Coach Tapha Manneh and Abdoulie Bojang of Steve Biko FC, the release added.

“The aforementioned players will be picked up at 7:30am along the highway during the scheduled training days and that all players are urged to abide by the time schedules.

“The GFF takes this opportunity to solicit the support and prayers of the general public for the successful training programme of the U-20 Team ahead of the Qualifiers in April.”
